Emily & Ryan’s elegant and timeless wedding at Casa Labia in Muizenberg was held on 7th January 2023. From the venue’s regal ambiance to the carefully curated details, this celebration epitomized natural sophistication and laid back charm.
The Essence of Classical Romance
Emily & Ryan had a strong vision for their special day, where classical romance and natural elegance took center stage creating a timeless wedding. The colour palette consisted of soft natural tones, featuring cream, white, and green hues, perfectly complementing Casa Labia’s ornate style. Vintage elements tied in seamlessly with the venue’s regal ambiance, creating a romantic and traditional atmosphere.
A Laid Back Cocktail Affair
During the cocktail-style reception, guests mingled and reveled in the romantic atmosphere while enjoying delectable canapés and bowl foods served by attentive waiters. Classic and simple decor enhanced the venue’s beauty without overshadowing it, including the choice of white and light furniture for a neutral touch.
Floral Splendor and Romantic Lighting
Exquisite floral arrangements, featuring shades of cream and white roses, hydrangeas, amaryllis, and dahlias, with touches of greenery adorned the venue. Beautiful lighting, including fairy lights and chandeliers, transformed the venue into a romantic haven. Floating candles clustered around the venue contributed to the romantic setting.
Classic Stationery and Traditional Touches
The stationery added to the classic and romantic theme, incorporating wax seals for a traditional touch. Each element, from ceremony programs to welcome signs, contributed to the overall theme of the wedding.
The Ceremony’s Classic Charm
Soft prelude music played while guests arrived. White Tiffany chairs lined the aisle, and parasols and posies added a touch of classic charm. The luscious white floral arrangements framed the couple while they said their vows. After the ceremony, guests showered the newlyweds with cream rose petal confetti.
Guests were welcomed with arrival cocktails and a gin bar. While waiters roamed with canapés, and the bride and groom enjoyed their couple’s photoshoot, guests were entertained with upbeat music, a spectacular view of the ocean and lawn games.
Guests entered the reception area after sunset, where cocktail furniture set the stage for an elegant affair. The tiered white wedding cake formed a focal point. Guests were served delicious bowl foods for mains and dessert included cake pops, the wedding cake and a soft serve station. The DJ continued to play background music as guests danced the night away.
Emily and Ryan’s timeless wedding celebration was nothing short of a masterpiece. From the classical romance that danced through the air to the natural elegance that adorned every detail, their special day was a symphony of love and sophistication.
Casa Labia’s regal charm set the scene for the perfect backdrop. The soft natural tones, the delicate blooms, and the romantic lighting wove together seamlessly, transforming the venue into a haven of love and joy.
From the classic stationery to the white floral arrangements and the laid back cocktail-style reception, every element was carefully curated to reflect Emily and Ryan’s unique love story.
