On 17 January 2021, Leslie popped the big question to his long-time sweetheart Tess. She said YES!
Their Love story
This lovely couple met in school in 2012 and have been dating for 8 years. Their relationship started off as a friendship and in May 2013, blossomed into something romantic, when they were just 15 and 16 years old. Since then, their love for each other has grown immensely. In 2019 they decided to move in and have been living together for almost three years and loving it!
Leslie contacted us asking for assistance to set up the couple’s dream proposal. He wanted somewhere special and romantic to propose and knew just the spot to do it. Having grown up in Franschhoek, he decided on a venue in the area, Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa.
Their Proposal
We scattered rose petals along the path and laid a bouquet of roses in her favourite colour on the table. Leslie had given us a romantic letter to place inside the picnic basket, which Tess would open when they were sitting down. They enjoyed a big spread of all their favourite picnic food and some lovely champagne.
After lots of celebrating and a couples shoot, they celebrated this big occasion with family and friends.
Tess & Leslie’s picnic proposal in the Winelands was such a lovely day! They have started with the wedding planning and plan on getting married in December. We wish this special couple all the best for their future together and may they have a long and happy marriage.
